When this is done, be sure to include all of the selling points on your proposal, and information on what commission you are offering for the sales they generate. Be very good in proofreading the letter well, as this will be you one shot for a quality impression. Send the letters out.

You just need to decide if you want to handle full responsibility of tracking sales generated with the commission amounts to pay, along with cutting and sending out the checks. Or if you want to enlist the services of an outside third-party affiliate tracker. The outside company will handle all of the tracking and distribution of the commissions for you.
In either case, running your own affiliate marketing system to sell your products will give you the control over how and where your advertisements are placed. The other big plus is controlling who is directing the traffic flow to your site. Something you should take into consideration, this is more work than having an affiliate program run it for you. But if you are sure of what you want to do, this is the way to do it.
